We have a simple belief. That when organizations have good processes, they can make incredible things happen.
Our History
Founded in 1992, we began with a simple but powerful vision: by turning day-to-day processes into value, we help organizations to grow, help leaders to innovate and ultimately, create a more efficient world.
We created a methodology, a product, and even gave it a name, Architecture of Integrated Information Systems (ARIS). The principles of which are still taught in universities around the world today.
Our Future
Now, businesses around the world face increasing complexity, regulation and market pressure, and operations must become more agile. ARIS has evolved into a comprehensive AI-powered Process Intelligence specialist, helping the leaders of the world’s largest organizations to redesign their processes and be ready for a new era of smarter, automated operations.
In 2025, we became an independent company for the first time. We are excited about this new chapter of innovation and growth, helping reimagine operations for the next generation of business leaders.
Our Mission
Although our company has evolved since the 1990s, our mission has remained unchanged. That by connecting different systems, data sources and ways of working, we give leaders an end-to-end view of how their business truly operates and empower them to make changes that deliver better value for their customers.

Leadership Team
Fadi Naffah
Fadi brings more than 30 years of revenue leadership and a clear vision for accelerating ARIS’s growth. Having previously led sales across France, Middle East, and Africa for Celonis, Fadi brings a wealth of industry knowledge and go-to-market expertise gained from senior roles at SAP, Salesforce, and Citrix.
Ralf Hartings
Ralf joined ARIS from United Internet AG, where he served as Group CFO. He leads our financial strategy and operations, driving process optimization and operational excellence across the organization. Ralf plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s continued stability, growth, and long-term success, building on his experience at Vodafone, AOL, and P&I AG.
Karl Wagner
A cornerstone of ARIS for more than 30 years, Karl has been instrumental in shaping our legacy of innovation and technical excellence. As CTO, he continues to advance our technology vision, ensuring we deliver cutting-edge, high-impact solutions that help organizations achieve new levels of efficiency, compliance, and optimization.
Tom Pressley
Tom brings 25 years of marketing leadership and a bold vision for the future of ARIS. His focus is to position and amplify our message, engage our community and share their stories, and elevate the ARIS brand to new heights of awareness.
