How it works

1. A Software AG consultant facilitates a kick-off to set expectations, define success criteria, and explain the ARIS authentication mechanisms, metadata, and configuration requirements. 
2. During the kick-off, the consultant will:
   • Provide an overview of SCIM for automatic provisioning of ARIS Users and ARIS/SAML integration for Access Management, and
   • Gain your commitment to provide input and artifacts needed for the engagement.
3. After the kick-off and upon receiving the required meta data and artifacts required, the consultant will commence configuration within your ARIS configuration environments. 
4. The consultant schedules a testing workshop to complete an end-to-end user provisioioning and access management test case. 
5. Upon acceptance by the customer, the consultant will transfer the access managemnet configurations into your production environment. 
6. Finally, full documentation of the configurations are passed to the responsible ARIS System Administrator in your organization.
7. Out of scope customers wishing to use Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Kerberos for Active Directory synchroisation. Further consultancy support can be provided by Software AG to support the LDAP and Kerberos use cases via our Consultant Mentoring Service.
