Scope

Activation of ARIS IDAM covers the following protocols for ARIS/SAML integration for access management and SCIM (System for Cross-Domain Identity Management) for automatic provisioning of ARIS Users.

Depending on your environment scenario, the following services packages are provided:

How it works

  1. An ARIS consultant facilitates a kick-off session to set expectations, define success criteria, and explain the ARIS authentication mechanisms, metadata, and configuration requirements.
  2. During the kick-off, the consultant will:
    • Provide an overview of SCIM for automatic provisioning of ARIS users and ARIS/SAML integration for Access Management.
    • Gain your commitment to provide input and artifacts needed for the engagement.
  3. After the kick-off session and upon receiving the required metadata and artifacts required, the consultant will commence configuration within your ARIS configuration environments.
  4. The consultant will schedule a testing workshop to complete an end-to-end user provisioning and access management test case.
  5. Upon acceptance by the customer, the consultant will transfer the access management configurations into your production environment.
  6. Finally, full documentation of the configurations will be passed to the responsible ARIS System Administrator in your organization.
  7. For our scope customers wishing to use Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Kerberos for Active Directory synchronization: Further consultancy support can be provided by ARIS to support the LDAP and Kerberos use cases via our Consultant Mentoring Service.

Key assumptions:

  1. The customer will facilitate access to their environments for the ARIS consultant, including access to relevant ARIS Connect tenants and Central User Management console.
  2. The customer will ensure all relevant customer resources are available for workshops as agreed to in the kick-off session, including the ARIS Systems Administrators and Identify and Access Management team members.
  3. The customer will provide connection and access details (including credentials) for accounts with the necessary privileges.
  4. All business will be conducted in English unless otherwise agreed to by the ARIS consultant and the customer.
  5. The services will be provided during business days and business hours as defined in the ARIS Professional Services Terms and Conditions.
  6. Governed by ARIS Professional Services Terms and Conditions.
